10 FOR 10 Challenge – Colour Rush with Rett UK

As part of the 10 for 10 challenge across 2023, Priavo Security is raising money for charities and good causes. Our chosen charity for May is Rett UK, in support of our MD and Co Founder’s sister Sara Shabbas. Our team undertook a 5k obstacle course combining the fun of colour powdered runs and bouncy obstacles to raise money for this charity.

Priavo Security is celebrating its 10th year of operation this year. As we are committed to supporting people’s fundamental right to feel protected at all times, our celebrations will centre around safeguarding vulnerable groups in our community. Our team will undertake ten months’ worth of fundraising events and challenges. Collectively we will donate towards and support our ten chosen charities covering military, conservation, and local community causes.

Who is Rett UK?

Rett UK is the only UK charity that provides professional support to people living with Rett syndrome across the UK. Retts is a complex neurological disorder that affects 1 in 15,000 females – and is the most common genetic cause of profound and multiple disabilities in females. There are currently at least 2,500 individuals living with the disorder across the UK. The Charity was founded in 1985 around a kitchen table by Yvonne Milne MBE. Since then – they have grown to be the leading provider of support and information to families and medical professionals new to the world of Rett syndrome.
