10 FOR 10 Challenge – Creative Youth Gala

As part of the 10 for 10 challenge across 2023, Priavo Security is raising money for charities and good causes. Our chosen charity for April is Creative Youth Charity. 

Priavo Security is celebrating its 10th year of operation this year. As we are committed to supporting people’s fundamental right to feel protected at all times, our celebrations will centre around safeguarding vulnerable groups in our community. Our team will undertake ten months’ worth of fundraising events and challenges. Collectively we will donate towards and support our ten chosen charities covering military, conservation, and local community causes.

Who is the Creative Youth?

Creative Youth is a charity based in Kingston, London. One of our charity partners, it was born out of an ambition to encourage and celebrate the creativity of young people – which they define as ages 5 to 26. They held the first International Youth Arts Festival (now called FUSE) at the Rose Theatre in 2009 – and this has now grown to become the largest festival of its kind in the UK.

Our MD Celine Murphy was lucky enough to attend one of their Gala nights, supporting the charity fundraiser with donations, auctions prizes and resources – in order to help young people navigate many challenges and fulfil their potential.

“What a fantastic night at the Creative Youth Charity Gala – supporting a diverse group of young people in the theatre and arts sector. I really enjoyed networking with a variety of people from all backgrounds, ranging from Members of Parliament and scholars to talented young performers, musicians, and actors. HRH Prince Edward, The Duke of Edinburgh, a long-standing supporter of the charity, celebrated his 10th gala! All in attendance had a similar agenda – to enable every young person to realise their potential through the arts.”

Thanks to Creative Youth a minimum of 1,500 young people engage with, and benefit from, their involvement in the arts every year. Please join the team at Priavo Security in making a difference for those less fortunate than us.
