Flic is a Swedish tech company behind the world’s smartest #button. It started life on Indiegogo in 2014, exceeding its $80,000 target to raise almost $1 million in two months. With simplicity at its heart, Flic, is creating a single, trusted #communication point between people and their devices. In short Flic is the efficient wireless smart button that traditionally creates shortcuts to your actions on your phone. It’s this simplicity that we wanted to harness for our own platform.

Locate will be utilising Flics connectivity and advanced Bluetooth #technology to create the world’s smartest panicbutton. As the latest addition to our wearable range it offers a quick, discreet and immediate way to raise an alert from the locate app.

In the event of an incident Locate alerts can be sent to the emergency contacts, with live captured audio and video. The cloud-based Alert Response Centre pinpoints the exact location of users, enabling you to monitor and communicate with your team globally.

Should an incident occur the platform allows you to send notifications to all affected employees or travellers, instructions regardless of where they are in the world, and should it be needed monitor and respond to its users and provide real time location services.

… This now is made even simpler – by triggering an alert via Flic’s smart Bluetooth button.
